The right equipment is essential for a good day on the water. Our goal is to provide everything you need to fully stock your tackle box. In addition to fishing poles, reels, hooks, lines, bobbers, and sinkers, we sell lures, worms, minnow, nightcrawlers, red wigglers, crickets and other live bait, all at reasonable prices.

To make your day even more enjoyable, we also sell a variety of snacks, refreshments,  sunscreen, lip balm as well as ice and coolers to keep your catch chilled for a long day on the water.

Members of hunting clubs can get a head start on the upcoming season by grabbing a supply of locally provided deer corn.

Purnell Outdoors, LLC is one of the few bait and tackle stores in Northampton County and the only one on the route between Jackson and Rich Square. The store is convenient to Roanoke River fishing via the North Carolina Wildlife Odom Boating 
Access Area.
